The criteria for the project was to design an editorial for something people do excessively. I chose skin cancer and tanning beds because it's a relevent problem in today's society. I went to a tanning salon to take the picture in the first spread.

I began this project as a poster and magazine spread, and it grew into a more in-depth magazine editorial using imagery from the original poster. It was meant to be a shocking story, using colors people might not associate with tanning beds.
